“My participation in research began during my undergraduate career at IU as a biology-psychology major. It ultimately led to my decision to pursue a Master of Public 健康 and continue working in population health research. Biology program staff were great at encouraging students to conceptualize ideas into research design, perform experiments and present at conferences. Due to IU’s smaller class sizes, we were able to get more one-on-one attention from professors to really hone proper lab techniques and data analysis skills. With IU’s various partnerships with surrounding institutions for grad school, I was able to transition easily into building my public health career after graduation.”
